Euro 2.5!

My countdown app says 16 days, 20 hours, 57 minutes and 34 seconds until it is 0800 on July 30, the day we are leaving for Europe.

I call it Euro 2.5 because Euro 2.0 didn't actually happen but was locked and loaded.  This can't be Euro 3.0 because there wasn't actually a 2.0, so I like Euro 2.5.

Heaven is for real.

I'm looking forward to our alpine excursions in Murren the most, I think. Paragliding, hiking to the summit of the Schilthorn, climbing, via ferratas and just being forcefully and fully aware that "God made this", and "God is here".  So I know God is omnipresent, but there is something about being in the mountains that makes God so much more real, awe-inspiring and powerful.  I can't wait for that feeling.

I'm quite sure I will also love our other mountain stays in Austria and Germany.  I long to live in a German-speaking country and to spread the Good News about God in those areas.  I love working with college-aged people and hope to do that someday in Switzerland, Austria or Germany.  Perhaps one of these cities we are visiting will be "home" in the future.  I hope so!
