Switzerland: There are no words. Part 1
We end our time in Switzerland tomorrow. It has been wonderful. Here is how it started. After a few crazy plane rides and airport hassles, we all ended up in Zurich, found each other and the apartment. Despite a few mishaps, like missing our train to the Rheinfall and then getting locked out of the apartment, Zurich was surprisingly great. Of course it was Swiss National Day...but still. We saw a parade, the boys played in a fountain and, after missing our train stop, we found a small town further down the lakeside that appeared to have a waterfront park. We walked through the town and down to the shoreline just as a large and fierce storm swept across the lake. We were trapped under a small structure with a few other "lucky" families. The rain was coming down hard and sideways, forcing us to all huddle on one side together.
