Liftoff!
I'm typing this from my phone as I wait for my first plane of the day to unload so I can board.
I love flying. I love experiencing the advancements of our technology so casually, in such an everyday way. I love to see what the Image of God has accomplished on this planet. I can't wait to breathe the same air as a mass of strangers trapped in a winged canister hurtling over the ocean hundreds of miles from home.
I find comfort in our sameness and pleasure in our differences. I am excited to speak and hear the same words and ideas in different accents and even different language in the coming days. I am especially excited about connecting with people who have lived out the same faith in Christ in an entirely different context.
I am also ready to be surprised.
