Slight Change of Plans

"Attention passengers...there has been a slight change of plans."

We had intended to go to Europe last year. The trip was planned, booked and paid for. Then it got cancelled.

There we were, exactly one week before we were scheduled to take off. We were excited, getting in peak shape and ready to go. Then I broke Sirena's ankle while rock climbing, exactly one week before we were scheduled to take off. 😢 That sucked...a lot...and we had to cancel the trip.

This year, though, the trip is back on! And it will be different this time...namely, no rock climbing beforehand! There are a few other changes, as well.

Can't wait to get back to Murren!

Last year, we were going to visit such places as Munich, Prague, Innsbruck, Murren and Zurich, in that order. Our team was going to be Sirena, DJ, Killian, Tommy (my cousin), Aaron (Sirena's brother) and me. And we were going to end our trip in Switzerland during the week of Swiss National Day.

This year, though, we will visit such places as Zurich, Murren, Innsbruck, Munich, and Prague, in that order. Our team is going to be Sirena, DJ, Killian, Tommy (my cousin), Aaron (different Aaron, a friend) and me. And we are going to begin our trip in Switzerland during the week of Swiss National Day.

OK, so it is not that different. It's actually similar enough to be one of those "Can You Spot The Difference Puzzles?". Lol. I spotted three, but there are actually a few more.

In any case, here we are again, planned and booked, excited to leave in a few weeks, getting in peak shape and almost ready to go...but there will be no rock climbing this time!
